Robyn Jefferson

I am Robyn Jefferson! Native New Yorker but spent a good portion of my life in the Maryland, DC & Virginia areas, affectionately known as the DMV. I relocated to Charlotte, NC in January of 2011 and fell in love almost instantly. I have always been a people person but more importantly, a problem solver. In this regard, I have a unique background. I come from a family of realtors and being a part of their business, I have over 20 years’ experience in the real estate, mortgage, and credit-repair businesses.

I first became a real estate agent in Maryland at the age of 20; and after experiencing my own difficulties and seeing those of other agents as they tried to obtain mortgages for customers, I decided to be helpful to myself and my perspective clients and train as a loan officer so I could deepen my understanding of the home buying process. I enjoyed that side of the business so much that I decided to stay a little longer. Prior to coming back as a Realtor, I worked as a mortgage Processor and was quickly promoted to a mortgage Underwriter. It was as an Underwriter that I got the full picture of mortgage processing, governmental guidelines and gained additional clarity on what it takes to buy a home.

When I returned to real estate, I came armed with an arsenal of information, which enabled me to guide Buyers to closing table. I developed skills to determine the financial viability of customers. I am able to examine a person’s financial and purchase profiles to be sure they meet all guidelines for mortgage approval. In doing so, I have been able to save customers time, money, and disappointment at the beginning of their quest for home ownership by pointing out those areas that need to be addressed prior to looking for a home.

Lastly, my work in debt management, budget planning and credit repair has equipped me with many resources to identify a person’s need for credit repair and the quickest, most effective way to credit resolution.

I care about people and focus on providing excellent service so my customers will feel confident in my ability to help them with all of their real estate needs. My track record is that everyone who works with me goes to settlement!
