Charlotte-ians are some fun-loving people…always looking for the next big adventure or party to go to. It’s a good thing Charlotte NEVER disappoints in that department; entertainment is a focal point within the city, and some of the best of it goes down at the Epicentre. The Epicentre features an open-air design with three levels of a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment facilities including a dine-in movie theater, a bowling alley, and multiple night clubs and live music venues. Office space occupies the fourth floor and the fifth features a hotel – a great option for out-of-towners. Many of the clubs and bars host themed event parties and bar crawls throughout the year for a fun change of pace…some even encourage you to dress in costume accordingly with the theme, and have games, prizes, and great drink specials. Check out their calendar of events here – there’s something for everyone, so don’t miss out!
The Epicentre isn’t just an entertainment hot spot, it’s also got some real treats for all those foodies out there who believe in the power of a savory, decadent meal. From bakeries to hibachi grills, small cafes to all-out steakhouses, The Epicentre has got you covered. Try out a Taco Tuesday at Vida Vida, a Whisky Wednesday at Whisky River (owned by NASCAR‘s Dale Earnhardt Jr.), or a fancy Fleming’s Friday for steak and fries. PRO TIP: You HAVE to try one of Insomnia Cookie’s freshly made desserts. They certainly live up to their reputation, plus they’re open until 3AM and they deliver.
